The Rainforests - Boycott Those Responsible For The Destruction

The Rainforests > Boycott Those Responsible For The Destruction

How else can we stop the Rainforests from being destroyed?

Boycott the products of those responsible for the destruction or those who profit from it. (We would like to extend our thanks to those of you who suggested this page)

Please email us if you have any information on companies who profit from the destruction of the Rainforest - please use the Contact page.

  • MITSUBISHI

Thanks to Nicole Hopkins who provided this information.

Please sign her petition at www.thepetitionsite.com which will be sent to the head of the Mitsubishi Corporation, Minoru Makihara, stating that the products that Mitsubishi produce will be boycotted until they stop trading in tropical wood from Borneo and other countries.

A round of applause for this lady - Sign her petition today!

...Now onto the Mitsubishi products that you should boycott :

    • Mitsubishi Motors

    • Mitsubishi Electric

    • Kirin Beer

    • Nikon Camera Equipment

    • Bank Of California

    • Mitsubishi Bank

    • ..and others.

  • WEST LB

This financial institution is involved in financing the Ecuadorian pipeline which will destroy many acres of rainforest, despite their denials.

West LB have recently bought ODEON CINEMAS in the United Kingdom - voice your dissent at their destruction of the forests and boycott them!

  • FINN FOREST

This company promotes itself as the largest mechanical forest product corporation in Europe. They even have a nice Environment section on their website. Yet, Greenpeace surprised a boat docked at Tilbury docks on 21st July 2003, and branded the Indonesian wood with STOP ILLEGAL TIMBER. The wood was destined for companies such as Finn Forest. Despite promoting their products as environmentally-friendly, they are buying wood from Indonesia - the world's fastest disappearing rainforest after the Amazon.

But who do Finn Forest supply? WICKES and B & Q, the DIY chains, buy their wood - take action now!

  • TT TIMBER

We were told about this company by a visitor to our website. Their literature on their website details their logging operations around the Earth. We sent them an email on 8th January 2004 but we have yet had no response.

  • INTERHOLCO AG

As we stated above, we want to add to this page. If you know of any one making a profit out of the destruction of the Rainforests, the one thing that gave us life on the Earth, then tell us. They must be made aware of their actions and the consequences that we all will face if their practices are not changed.
