It is with regret that I have to say
I watch devilish yellow contraptions working towards the Major Beech today.
I am at a loss for words except to pray
that if a soul were to step this way
and wished to take one last glimps of the heart
of the old forrest before it goes
you had best be advised to arrive before our foes,
the sheriffs men, doing rich mens bidding,
take the poor trees and once their ridden
break the hearts of merry men and women
But what is this?
Do I feel the pang of pain in YOUR heart?
If so, rejoice!!
For you surely would not abandon us now?
Or would you?
