I have been involved in computing for over 25 years. As the years have flown by, I have written many programs, of which a few are listed as they are in a suitable way to be shared. I have written in Basic (Amiga and Hisoft), Pascal, SAS/C, Windows Assembler, Perl, PHP (& MySQL), HTML, Javascript, OS/390 Assembler and OS/390 C.

Logger64 (OS/390 & z/OS) - v2.0.2 (08 Feb 2007 - 64-bit only) - Written in Assembler. Run against the System Logger logstream and using multiblock reading, it will extract data between specified dates and handles jobnames, systems, message IDs.

IODF (OS/390 & z/OS) - v1.6 (15 Dec 2006) - Written in Perl/CGI. Reads a USS directory of IOCPs/IODFs and generates a menu. From this menu, you can display the channels, control units and devices as well as switches. It also displays unused channels, control units and devices - extremely handy when diagnosing problems or reproducing IOCPs! Now includes IODF_CTC.cgi to check CTC links between IODFs.

BSaver (Windows) - v1.1.3 (17 Aug 2003) - Based on code by Ron Thomas, this screensaver uses music and graphic images to produce a slideshow. Source includes sample music and pictures. Shows how music can be played while a slideshow runs. Pressing SPACE BAR reveals a dialog with blue text that when clicked, open up URLs. Tested under XP.

KeySearch (Windows) - v1.0.3 (19 Dec 2003) - A database program. Add files against keywords then search the database for matches. Useful for cataloging programs using keywords such as image processing, music etc.

IEKATO (Windows) - v1.0 (11 Aug 2003) - I ran into a problem when I had to upload a 140MB file to a website - Internet Explorer timed out after 5-7 minutes and I was stuck! I found a registry key that would overcome this but it needed a calculation in milliseconds to work. To make it easier for others, I decided upon IEKATO - Internet Explorer Keep Alive Time Out.
